North Kingston RI - A Positive View Of Rhode Island Walt Barrett

     North Kingston, Rhode Island

The Wiki Link

I made a film about the home in Saunderstown where Gilbert Stuart, the famous American painter, was born and lived for many years.  If you ever visit Rhode Island it's a must see for a serious look at earlier life in our state.  There are also two water powered mills on the property.
One water wheel powers a snuff grinding mill and the other water wheel powers a corn meal grinding mill. There are many interesting things to see at this property and I have tried my best to give you the best tour possible on film. The home itself is in excellent repair and filled with many historical items.
This link will give you an excellent background on the artist himself.   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gilbert_Stuart

The film plays well on the larger screen size.
I hope that you enjoy it.  We had a great time producing it.

Please remember that Rhode Island is a great state to vacation in and we will continue to present many more films that showcase our state. Rhode Island is one of the 50 United States of America and is the smallest in size.  It is where the Industrial Revolution really all began at the Samuel Slater Mill in Pawtucket , RI.

Thank you,
Walt Barrett
